Mads Parker (they/she) is a poet who grew up in several small towns all over Oklahoma. Their poems
have been published in a few print and online publications, including 3 Sisters Literary, Pedestal
Magazine, and Red Earth Review. They received their MFA in creative writing at New Mexico State
University where they won the 2025 Academy of American Poets’ Ruth Scott Poetry Award.
